Nepal the king of the Himalayas is a paradise for both tour and trekking. Nepal is home to exotic cultures, ancient religion, diverse wildlife, serendipitous lakes and rivers and affable people. This is not just an amazing tour but also covers the short and scenic trek which takes you to enjoy the close up view of the majestic mountains.

This program starts from the Kathmandu the capital city of Nepal which is the epicenters of culture & art and is home to the ancient Newari culture continues with the Jungle Safari in the Chitwan National Park which is one of the Asia’s finest National Park to the tranquil valley of Pokhara from where we start 3 days short and scenic trek to the 2nd largest Gurung village Ghandruk via some magestic trail and wrap up this tour with predominantly a Newari town called Bandipur.

Day 1

Upon arrival you will be warmly greeted by our representatives in the airport and takes you to your designated hotel. Before check in short briefing session will be arranged.

Day 2
Visit Swyambhunath, Kathmandu Durbar Square and Pashupatinath

After breakfast today we will be visiting to the world’s most glorious Buddhist Chaitya Swayambhunath. Built in 250 BC and known to be the oldest in Nepal, this stupa displays typical Buddhist architecture located in the small hill inside Kathmandu Valley. The vicinity of the Swayambunath stupa is surrounded by hundreds of other Buddhist shrines all around.

Then we drive to Kathmandu Durbar Square situated in the heart of the city. This ancient palace is also known as Hanuman Dhoka Durbar. This palace is named after Hanuman, the monkey god, as a stone statue of Hanuman is placed right next to the main entrance protecting the whole palace.

From here we walk through typical Nepali markets to busy touristic Thamel Area.

Then we visit to Pashupatinath Temple, a two tiered golden roof and silver door temple which is considered one of the four most important religious sites in Asia for devotees of Shiva. Number of temples, ashrams, images and inscriptions are built here. This is a temple of Lord Shiva and the largest temple complex in Nepal.

Day 3
Visit Boudhanath and Bhaktapur Durbar Square

After breakfast today we drive to Boudhanath Stupa an ancient colossal stupa built during the 5th century. This is one of the biggest stupa in the world and is the center of world Tibetan Buddhism.

And then we drive to the Bhaktapur – city of devotee and the home of traditional art and architecture, magnificent windows, pottery and so on.

Day 4
Fly to Bharatpur and drive to Chitwan National Park

Today we take approx 25 min flight to Bharatpur and 45 min drive to resort in Chitwan National Park. After check in to the resort trained naturalist welcome you and brief about the program. In the day time we start a bullock cart ride to visit the village which takes you to Tharu houses and experience the coexistence of modernity and tradition in the village. In the evening you have dinner with Tharu Cultural dance.

Day 5
Full day Jungle Activities

Today after breakfast we go for canoeing in the Rapti River which is a peaceful ride looking out for Crocodiles and several Wetland Species, migrants and residents and if lucky gets a closer view of the Rhinos wallowing in water.

And then the guide takes you to the elephant breeding centre where guide brief you about the elephant. Later go with them to swim in the river while washing and cleaning them and also get washed in process.

After lunch in the afternoon safaris are organized in the core area of the National Park using lodge’s owned 4X4 vehicle. Jeep safari is the most preferred way to experience the dense flora and vivacious wildlife of Chitwan as we pass through various habitats following the tracks in the company of an experienced naturalist.

Day 6
Drive to Bharatpur Airport and fly to Pokhara

Today we take 45 minutes drive Bharatpur airport and 25 min flight to the tranquil place Pokhara. Upon arrival we check in to the hotel and free day. In the evening we head for boating in the most popular lake Fewa.

Day 7
Drive to Phedi and trek to Pothana

Today after breakfast we take approx 30 minutes drive to Phedi and from then we start approx 4 hrs treks to Pothana. From Phedi, the trail ascends steeply through forest and later through paddy fields to the village of Damphus and then through forest to the Pothana.

Day 8
Trek to Landruk

Today after breakfast we trek approx 5 hrs to reach Landruk. The trail goes through forest to the ridge to Deurali. Then descend again to the small villages of Tolkha and Bheri Kharka. Again we descend bit down to reach Landruk.

Day 9
Trek to Ghandruk

After breakfast today, we trek approx 3 hrs to reach Ghandruk. The trail goes steep down to the Modi River and again from then steep up to the beautiful Gurung village Ghandruk. After lunch we explore Ghandruk village.

Day 10
Short Trek and drive back to Pokhara

Today after breakfast we walk approx 30 min down to Kimchi and 2 hrs drive back to Pokhara. Full day sightseeing of Pokhara city

Day 11
Drive to Bandipur

Today after breakfast drive to Bandipur which takes around 3/4hrs drive.

Bandipur is a picturesque hill top town located almost halfway through the highway linking Kathmandu to Pokhara. It is located at an altitude of 3400 feet. The weather of Bandipur is cool all the year round. It is predominantly a Newari town. Late afternoon cultural walk around the Bandipur town a well-preserved cultural site. Walk back on the stone paved path in between the local houses to hotel.

Day 12
Drive back to Kathmandu

Today we drive back to Kathmandu. It takes approx 5 hrs to reach Kathmandu from Bandipur.

As per the flight schedule we will transfer you to the Airport for your flight back home.
